Scenario
Your Lead System Architect has requested that you use Pega GenA Blueprint™ to create a new Pega Platform™ application.
Blueprint is Pega's new software-as-a-service (SaaS) application that is available from the Pega.com website. Blueprint combines the power of Pega GenAI™ and basic information about the workflow to create the Case Types, Case Life Cycles, Live Data, and Personas associated with a Pega Platform application.
Your LSA provided you with the following functional description to use to in creating the GoGoRoad application in Blueprint:
The GoGoRoad application will model the Assistance Request workflow in a Case Type. The Assistance Request workflow consists of four Stages:
- In the first Stage, a customer contact's GoGoRoad's Customer Service department to request roadside assistance for their vehicle. The Customer Service representative (CSR) identifies the following information: the type of service requested, the customer's personal information, the location of the service, and the vehicle information. The CSR also collects the customer's Payment information.
- In the second Stage, a Manager verifies the service request and confirms the customer is enrolled with GoGoRoad.
- In the third stage, the CSR dispatches a service provider.
- In the final stage, the CSR reviews the services provided and the customer is sent an email invoice.
Once the Blueprint has been created and reviewed, you have been asked to download both the Blueprint PDF and Blueprint file, and, using the Blueprint file, import the application into Pega Platform environment.
Your Lead System Architect has given you a collection of technical documentation links to help you get started.
