With Pega Platform™ applications, developers can tailor the user experience based on Channel and Persona to allow users to interact with the application more efficiently. In this module, you engage in a conversation about configuring the Constellation user interface to meet the diverse needs of your application’s users.

Engage at your own pace, with Socrates guiding your understanding of the material. For an optimal experience, complete the module in one session.

Using Socrates: 
  • Learning Objectives: Accessible in the pane on the left side of the conversation area.
  • Preferences: Customize Language, Conversation style, and Industry, and enable Socrates Audio (text-to-speech).
  • Conversation: Create new line in your chat with Socrates by pressing Shift+Enter. Press Enter to submit your complete response.
Experienced learners: 
  • Starts with a scenario-based assessment.
  • Responses are evaluated to identify knowledge gaps.
  • Socrates provides targeted information to address these gaps.
New learners: 
  • Begins with foundational content before the assessment.
  • Assessment results guide Socrates in filling knowledge gaps.

After completing this module, you should be able to:

  • Design a variety of Channel interfaces to satisfy the needs of different application users.
  • Design a mobile application Channel that supports native features and offline scenarios.
  • Create custom landing pages for the Constellation Portal.
  • Create and share custom dashboards for the Constellation Portal.
  • Localize Constellation applications for use across different global regions.
  • Incorporate accessibility features and Constellation UI elements in the application design to ensure broader usability.
  • Integrate Constellation-based applications in applications built on Pega's Traditional architecture or with other front-end systems.
