Pega Platform's™ Constellation architecture and design system is a set of tools that delivers a modern, prescribed experience for both application developers and users. In this module, you engage in a conversation about the Constellation architecture and design system and how it offers particularly fast time to value.

Engage at your own pace, with Socrates guiding your understanding of the material. For an optimal experience, complete the module in one session.

Using Socrates: 
  • Learning Objectives: Accessible in the pane on the left side of the conversation area.
  • Preferences: Customize Language, Conversation style, and Industry, and enable Socrates Audio (text-to-speech).
  • Conversation: Create new line in your chat with Socrates by pressing Shift+Enter. Press Enter to submit your complete response.
Experienced learners: 
  • Starts with a scenario-based assessment.
  • Responses are evaluated to identify knowledge gaps.
  • Socrates provides targeted information to address these gaps.

  • Explain the benefits of using the Constellation architecture to deliver Pega Platform applications.
  • Describe how the Constellation Portal supports an enhanced user experience.
  • Describe how different Views effectively collect and display information during Case processing.
  • Identify the benefits of leveraging Constellation's UI controls when configuring Views.
  • Incorporate Field Groups in Views to display individual fields in a cohesive cluster.
  • Identify the benefit of designating Primary fields in Data Objects and the Case Type Data Model.
  • Articulate how Pega's Constellation DX API delivers Constellation's powerful UI experience.
