Scenario

After vendor approval, Metro Delivery Company(MDC) must provision the vendor for operational onboarding and create the documentation required to begin business operations. Today, onboarding teams manage these activities manually through separate systems and email-based processes. As a result, onboarding artifacts are not consistent, and teams have limited visibility into onboarding progress.

MDC wants to standardize this process by automating and exposing onboarding services through a  Model Context Protocol(MCP) server. The vendor enrollment workflow can then invoke these services after approvals to initiate the vendor activation activities.

As a Lead System Architect (LSA), your task is to implement a technical proof of concept that:

  • Exposes Vendor Activation capability through a Service MCP implementation
  • Invokes the capability from the Vendor enrollment workflow using a Connect MCP

The following table provides the credentials you need to complete the challenge:

Role User name Password
Application Developer admin@deliveryservice rules
Note: You can complete this challenge only by using the Pega challenge instance provided with the Lead System Architect training mission on Pega Academy.

You must initiate your own Pega instance to complete this Challenge.

Initialization may take up to 5 minutes so please be patient.
