Szenario

An executive manager at MDC needs a centralized view of all their assigned tasks and team Work Queues on a single landing page. Currently, assignments are scattered across different areas of the Portal, which reduces the manager's operational efficiency. By configuring a dedicated Work landing page in the Executive Manager Portal, the executive manager can have immediate visibility into both their personal Worklist and all relevant Work Queues from one consolidated View.

The following table provides the credentials you need to complete the challenge:

Genaue Übungsschritte

1 Implement solution details

1. In the Pega Platform™ instance for the challenge, enter the following credentials:
   1. In the User name field, enter admin@deliveryservice.
   2. In the Password field, enter rules.
2. In the header of Dev Studio, click Dev Studio > App Studio.
3. In the navigation pane of App Studio, click Channels.
4. In the Current channel interfaces section, click Executive Manager Portal.
5. On the Portal landing page, on the Content tab, click Landing pages.
6. In the Landing pages pane, click Add, and then configure the following page fields:
   1. In the Name field, enter Work.
   2. In the Template list, select Default page.
   3. Click Submit.

7. In the Edit landing page pane, in the Region A section, click Add.

8.  In the Widgets field, select Todo, and then click Add.

9. In the Todo widget field, click the Gear icon, and then select the My worklist and Work Queues checkboxes.

10. Click Save.
11. In the Landing pages pane, click the back arrow to return to the Main navigation section.
12. In the Landing pages section, click Add item to add the newly created Work landing page to the Executive Manager Portal, and then save the configuration details.
