Noah Smith is working on an opportunity for Sara Connor. Noah just learned that Sara married Luke Patel and took her spouse's last name. Sara and Luke are planning to build a new home together that will require a home security solution. Update the application to reflect the changes.

Use the following credentials to log in to the exercise system:

Your assignment consists of the following tasks:

Task 1: Add a contact record for Luke Patel.

Task 2: Update Sara's last name.

Task 3: Create a new household for the Patel family.

Task 4: Confirm your work

1 Add a contact record for Luke Patel

1. Log in to your exercise environment as sales representative Noah Smith.
   1. In the User name field, enter nsmith.
   2. In the Password field, enter rules.
2. Click Create > Contact. The Create contact form is displayed.
3. In the Create contact form, enter the following information:
   1. First name: Luke
   2. Last name: Patel
   3. Phone: +48 01234567
   4. Phone type: Work
   5. Email: [email protected]
   6. Email type: work
   7. Account type: Consumer
   8. Account: New
   9. Relationship type: Customer
   10. Role type: Decision maker
4. Click Submit to save the contact.
5. In the Navigation panel, click Contacts. The Contacts screen shows the new entry for Luke Patel.

2 Update Sara's last name

1. On the Contacts screen, click Search. In the Search field, enter Connor.
2. Click Sara Connor. The contact for Sara Connor is displayed.
3. Click Edit.
4. In the Last name field, enter Patel.
5. In the Marital Status field, make sure that Married is selected.
6. Click Submit.

3 Create a new household for the Patel family

1. Click Create > Household Account.
2. Enter the following information:
   1. Name: Patel
   2. Head of household: Luke Patel
   3. Relationship type: Prospect
3. In the Household address area, click Use head of household address, then click Submit.
4. Click Actions > Add contact relationship.
5. In the Last name field, enter Patel, then click Search.
6. From the list of results, click Luke Patel, then click Next.
7. In the Relationship dropdown, select Decision maker, then click Submit.
8. Repeat steps 4 – 7 to add Sara Patel as a member of the household with the relationship Spouse.
