Advanced query design

It is not enough just to know how to configure reports. There can be multiple solutions to the same problem, one superior to the others. There can be situations where an ideal solution is not possible using the data that already exists. Creating data to simply a query is a technique that can be leveraged. Also, the decision how best way to store data to facilitate reporting needs to be made early on; data query ability should not be an afterthought.
