Pega Agentic Process Fabric
Pega Agentic Process Fabric™ is an orchestration layer that connects AI agents, employees, customers, systems, and workflows across your enterprise. Pega Agentic Process Fabric uses the network of Agents and workflows so that the system selects the right workflow to perform the required job, and supports end-to-end governance, orchestration, and predictability at scale. Key features include:
Intelligent Agent Registry
Intelligent Agent Registry supports the integration and registration of Pega Agents. It helps discover Agents and workflows deployed across various Pega applications and supports Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol communication.
Fabric Control Agent
Fabric Control Agent is an application‑level Agent in Pega Agentic Process Fabric. Fabric Control Agent accesses all connected Agents through the Intelligent Agent Registry. In response to user queries, Fabric Control Agent uses AI reasoning to identify and select the most appropriate Agent from the Intelligent Agent Registry for task delegation and completion. All interactions use the A2A protocol across channels, including web and email.
Operational visibility
The Fabric Control Agent ensures predictable outcomes by applying consistent AI-driven task selection. It provides traceability through detailed logging and auditability through transparent recording of all decisions, actions, and outcomes across channels.
Open connectivity
Pega Agentic Process Fabric orchestrates Agents across applications through Agent interoperability standards, Agent-to-Agent (A2A), and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
