Module
Confirming readiness for Authoring
3 Topics
25 mins
The preceding modules focused on developing the Blueprint around the intended business outcome. The focus now moves to readiness: confirming that the Blueprint and the conditions required to deliver the agreed increment provide a clear starting point for Authoring.
Blueprint Readiness is established through Validation. The Solution Designer guides stakeholders through practical business scenarios to confirm what the Blueprint supports, identify where refinement adds value, and make the important decisions, rationale, dependencies, ownership, and open questions visible. This process strengthens the Blueprint as a high-fidelity representation of the agreed outcome.
Readiness also considers the practical conditions required to begin Authoring. The team confirms that the agreed increment remains achievable and that the required contributors, environments, access, services, governance, and decision routes are available when needed.
Together, Blueprint Readiness, project and team readiness, and technology and dependency readiness establish whether the team has an agreed, high-fidelity Blueprint and the conditions required to progress into Authoring.
