Managing investigation data

The Manage Investigation Data (MID) feature in the Alert and Investigation Management Accelerator allows investigators to manually add and remove key data, such as Accounts, Subjects, and Transactions, within an investigation.
With access to comprehensive data, investigators can conduct deeper research and make more informed decisions, thus ensuring thorough and accurate investigations. Using the MID feature, they can search for the following types of entities:

  • Transactions
  • Accounts
  • Subjects (individuals or organizations) that either have existing records or are new to the bank.

Upon deciding that a given piece of data is either valuable or redundant for the investigation, investigators can manually add or delete the data from the case. After confirming the changes or reviewing the results, the outstanding Research tasks are refreshed and the Investigation view updates accordingly.
Manually added entities are automatically included in the case narrative as well.
