Implementing a data-instance-first design pattern

Scenario

In the HR recruitment process, the application collects candidate information from multiple sources and stores it in a Candidate Data Object. The Candidate Data Object serves as a reference to initiate a Case for scheduling interviews and selecting candidates for available positions. Implement a data-instance-first approach to create the Case.

1 Implement solution details

1. In the Pega Platform instance for the challenge, enter the following credentials:
   1. In the User name field, enter admin@CLSAByte.
   2. In the Password field, enter rules.
2. In the header of Dev Studio, click Dev Studio > App Studio.
3. In the navigation pane of App Studio, click Data.
   
4. In the list Data Objects, click Candidate.

Nota: If you do not find Candidate Data Object, in the navigation pane of App Studio, click Case Types. In the list of Case Types, in the Referenced Data Objects of the Recruitment Case Type, click Candidate.

5. On the configuration page for the Candidate Data Object, click the Actions tab.

6. In the User actions section, click Action > Create Case.
   
7. In the User action pane, configure the details:
   1. In the Case Type list, select Recruitment.
   2. In the Field to store Data reference list, select Candidate.
      
8. Click Save.
