Application Assets in Pega Robot Manager
Application Assets are reusable components created by developers using Pega Robot Studio. These components are then deployed to Pega Robot Manager as standalone entities. Robot Manager serves as a repository and approval system for the assets, allowing for updating asset settings as needed.
Assets page
If you have the necessary access privileges, the Assets section in Pega Robot Studio menu will display two options: My Work and Catalog. The My Work section allows you to either approve or reject a version of an Asset. You can also keep track of all resolved approval cases here. In the Catalog option of the Assets menu, you can view all the approved versions of the assets that are present in the asset catalog.
To be able to re-use the deployed Asset, you must approve it in the Asset catalog in Pega Robot Manager. Approving an Asset makes its version available for download and use in robotic project by Pega Robot Studio developers.
Package and Asset settings
Pega Robot Manager provides an interface to view and modify various options related to Application Assets and packages deployed from Pega Robot Studio. You can access these settings from the Settings > Packages and Assets section of Pega Robot Studio menu.
Before you start working with Asset versions in Pega Robot Manager, you must ensure they are included in the accepted asset types list. You can view and modify this list in the Assets tab of the Package and Assets settings, as shown in the following figure:
You can also adjust the signing and encryption settings for packages deployed to Pega Robot Manager, including those containing Application Assets. For more information about supported asset types and other asset settings, see Modifying package and assets settings
