Generating application-level test coverage report
Application-level test coverage reports help identify which executable rules in your currently included applications are included in tests performed by multiple users across multiple sessions.
To generate application-level test coverage, perform the following steps:
- In the header of Dev Studio, click Configure > Application > Quality > Test coverage.
- Click the Application level tab.
Note: To start an application-level test coverage report, your operator ID must have the pzStartOrStopMasterAppRuleCoverage privilege, and the “Application level coverage is in progress” message must not already be displayed.
- Click Start new session.
- Enter a title for the coverage report, and then click OK.
- Inform all relevant users that they can log into the application and run their tests.
- Wait until all users log in, complete their tests, and then log out.
Note: If you stop an application-level test coverage session before a user has logged off, the coverage data of that user is not included in the report.Note: If you triggered the coverage session by mistake and want to restart the session, clickCancel coverage, and then click Yes.
- Click Stop coverage, and then, in the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
- Click Show report on the most recently generated record in the Coverage history section to access the coverage report data.

The details that are included in an application-level test coverage report are similar to those of a user-level test coverage report. In addition to the information shown on the user-level coverage report, the application-level coverage report also shows the information on all the test sessions that participated in generating the application-level test coverage report. This information is displayed in the Sessions section, as shown in the following figure:
