How it works

How it Works

PDC remote agent captures the system production level, the search index availability, the size of the index and the count of documents indexed. The PDC remote agent then pushes the relevant data to the PDC service for further analysis.

The PDC service triggers the OPS0013 event for production and pre-production systems exhibiting any of the following conditions:

  • The search index is unavailable.
  • The number of documents in the search index is zero.
  • The number of documents in the search index have decreased by more than 90% since the last update.

Additionally, when the OPS0013 event is triggered it raises an Alert Event for Cloud Operations in PegaSupport.
