Pega GenAI in App Studio

Pega GenAI helps application developers to quickly and easily generate:

While Pega GenAI will assist developers with these tasks, it is important to note that the content generated by Pega GenAI can be edited and deleted, and additional content can be added manually.

The Chat with your data feature enables users to interact with data through natural language queries for Insights and reporting, eliminating the need for in-depth knowledge of the reporting process. Users can request specific information, like home loan data, over a certain period, and the system will automatically generate the Insights. This feature not only speeds up report creation by application developers but can also be used by end users, so that they also can benefit from easy and expedited report creation.

In addition to exciting new features in App Studio, Pega Platform '23 also includes external data model mapping, which is focused on the application development pillar of data and integration in the Pega Express methodology. This remarkable tool utilizes generative AI to map any system of record to an organization's Pega Data Model. Organizations can manage the mapping process, ensuring complete control. By using this tool, organizations save time and reduce the workload on developers, making their work more efficient and streamlined. The tool is an indispensable solution that provides a seamless and straightforward experience to make an organization's data and integration process more manageable. The mapping can handle sophisticated data models that can include things such as embedded structures, Case references, and lists. As with the other generative AI-based features, the user can override anything they deem incorrect.

The localization feature in Pega GenAI provides a huge time-saver for organizations with global customers.
