Pega Robot Manager functionality

An organization plans to leverage the robotic automation capability within Pega Platform™. Extending the functionality of existing Pega Platform cases can address several robotic integration business requirements. To help manage deployed robots, the company plans to use Pega Robot Manager™.

The Pega Robot Manager application allows you to:

Manage your users and robots
Assign packages and run-time configuration files
Schedule and prioritize assignments in a designated work queue

Application import

Pega Robot Manager is a separate application that you must import into Pega Platform. After import, associate Pega Robot Manager with an existing application or create a new application.

Pega Platform allows you to import the contents of an archive file that contain rules and data instances from a ZIP file, JAR file, or application bundle. You can access the Import wizard and follow the screen prompts by clicking Configure > Application > Distribution > Import.

Note: During the import process, the system confirms that each imported ruleset is equal to or higher than the prerequisite version.
