Pre- and post-processing configuration for Flow Actions
When a Data Transform, activity, or robotic Automation is ready, locate the Action tab of the Flow Action form for the appropriate Process. Select the Data Transform or activity to apply and enter it in the Pre-processing or Post-processing section as appropriate. Selecting and entering the Data Transform or activity completes the form, as shown in the following image:
Note: To learn more about how to configure a Flow Action, see Flow Actions.
Savable Data Pages
You can reference a savable Data Page as a post-processing Action on a Flow Action, either by referencing the Data Page or a property auto-populated by the Data Page. When a user submits the Flow Action, the system accesses the save plan for the Data Page to update the data source. You provide values for parameters passed to the Data Page in the Parameters section and can commit data to the SOR conditionally by specifying a When Condition in the Flow Action. Unlike a Save Data Page Step, which only references one savable Data Page, you can add multiple Data Pages to commit as post-processing Actions.
In the following image, you configure a post-processing Action to save the Supplier Code to the D_Supplier savable Data Page if the Supplier does not exist on D_Supplier:
