After completing all of the required information to create a data source, you can immediately begin the process to create a View from the source. You create Views to visualize the process and perform analysis.

As shown in the following figure, you can either save the source, which makes it available for selection later when you want to create a View, or you can save the source and open the View creation wizard at the same time.

If you click Save, the system saves the source and displays the new source on the Data Sources page. The system also displays the source creation status in the lower-right corner of the page, in case you want to click Create view to open the View creation wizard.
Source Creation Status shows the status of the source creation and provides a link to open the View creation wizard.

If you click Save and Create View, the system displays the source creation status in the lower-right corner of the page:

After saving the source, the system displays a message in the upper-right corner of the page before opening the Views Info tab, which is the first step in the View creation wizard.
