Scenario

Chuck Keffler, who runs a construction company, is interested in security products. After nurturing the lead, sales representative Benjamin Miller feels confident and wants to add Keffler Constructions Partners (KCP) to the application.

Use the following credentials to log in to the exercise system:

Your assignment consists of the following tasks:

Task 1: Create a new business account.

1 Create a new business account

1. Log in to your exercise environment as sales representative Benjamin Miller.
   1. In the User name field, enter bmiller.
   2. In the Password field, enter rules.
2. Click Create > Business account.
3. On the Create Business account form, enter the following information:
   1. Account Name: Keffler Construction Partners
   2. Doing business as: KCP
   3. Industry: Manufacturing
   4. Annual revenue : 3450000
   5. Relationship type: Customer
4. In the Territories list table, click Add.
5. In the Territory drop-down list, select Northwest, and then select it as Primary territory.
6. Enter the following address information:
   1. Business phone: +1 1111111111
   2. Business email: [email protected]
   3. Country: United States
   4. Address line 1: 75 Mt Auburn St., Watertown, MA
   5. Postal code: 02472
7. Click Submit to save the business account.
   
   There is now a business account for Keffler Construction Partners.
