Scenario

Chuck Keffler, who runs a construction company, is interested in security products. After nurturing the lead, sales representative Terry Mason feels confident and wants to add Keffler Constructions Partners (KCP) to the application.

Use the following credentials to log in to the exercise system:

Role User name Password
Sales representative Tmason rules

Your assignment consists of the following tasks:

Task 1: Create a new business account.

Task 2: Confirm your work.

 

You must initiate your own Pega instance to complete this Challenge.

Initialization may take up to 5 minutes so please be patient.

Detailed Tasks

1 Create a new business account

  1. Log in to your exercise environment as sales representative Terry Mason.
    1. In the User name field, enter Tmason.
    2. In the Password field, enter rules.
  2. Click Create > Business Account.
  3. On the Create Business Account form, enter the following information:
    1. Account Name: Keffler Construction Partners
    2. Organization: Acme Software
    3. Industry: Construction
    4. Annual revenue: 3450000
    5. Territory: North East
  4. Click + Add Postal Address by entering the following address information:
    1. Address type: Business Address
    2. Set the address as Primary.
    3. Street: 75 Mt Auburn St., Watertown
    4. State: Massachusetts
    5. Country: United States
    6. Postal code: 02472
  5. Click Submit to save the business account.

    There is now a business account for Keffler Construction Partners.
