Pega Infinity Studio
Pega Platform '26 introduces Pega Infinity Studio as a unified development environment that combines application design, configuration, and debugging in a single workspace, replacing the separate App Studio and Dev Studio environments. This release discontinues Dev Studio, and App Studio is no longer recommended as the development environment for Pega Platform applications.
The primary purpose of Pega Infinity Studio is to support the new development approach that starts with Pega Blueprint™ and then extends the AI-assisted prototyping experience into development. The structure and intent of your Blueprint carry forward as you build, configure, and refine your application in Pega Infinity Studio using the latest Pega GenAI™ tools.
In addition, Pega Infinity Studio simplifies application development by consolidating the tools and features of App Studio and Dev Studio into a single, streamlined environment. This unified approach reduces context switching, aligns low-code and complex workflows, and accelerates the path from prototype to production.

Pega Platform '26 introduces Pega AI Assistant™, an Pega Infinity Studio-based tool that accelerates low-code development by responding to natural language.
AI Assistant enables you to transform the initial Pega Blueprint™ draft into a functional application through conversation. As you guide the AI Assistant through your goals and requests, it responds with information, clarifying questions, or direct and immediately visible changes to your application. Working hand-in-hand with AI Assistant helps you understand your application better to troubleshoot, develop, and test faster.
Combining natural language interaction with structured, reviewable design lowers the barrier between ideas and implementation, making Infinity Studio more approachable for new users without sacrificing clarity or control.

Pega MCP boosts interconnectivity for developers
Pega Platform now includes an MCP server that enables you to build Rules from a development environment of your choice.
The Pega Infinity MCP server comes with a an installation plugin and a set of skills instructing agents how to work with Pega, reducing the need for domain-specific knowledge. For developers, using agents to translate between platforms and tool sets leads to faster product onboarding, reduced time to market, and automated test coverage.
By opening Pega Platform to collaboration with autonomous agents, Pega is evolving its low-code approach and making application development more automated and accessible to users without a strong Pega background.

Blueprint Preview MCP
The Blueprint Preview MCP enables you to connect AI assistants and agent platforms, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, and Cursor, to your Blueprint application through a standardized Model Context Protocol endpoint. You can simulate your Workflows with connected agents without building custom integrations. Your team can then focus on designing agent experiences tailored to your application's Workflows instead of building custom connectors.
Because simulation runs against your live Blueprint design, you catch misaligned Workflow designs earlier in the delivery cycle. This shortens feedback loops, reduces rework late in development, and accelerates time to production for AI-assisted applications.
