Change in program policy
Government agencies often must edit or update the programs created due to changes in program policy. These updates might include changing the details to add supplemental information, configuring additional documents, and updating eligibility criteria.
Pega Government Platform™ provides an edit feature so that government agencies can easily manage the existing programs and make updates to them while having a trail of audits. As a result, government agencies have more flexibility to make updates easily and enhance compliance.
View program
Pega Government Platform includes a landing page for Program definition Cases. This landing page displays the list of all the Program definition Cases.
Users can search for and view defined programs on the Program definition landing page. The search criteria can be narrowed down based on the entity type using Search by list.
The following figure shows the search landing page for Program definition Cases:
Program editing overview
When users open a program on the Program definition landing page, the system opens the Case, and users can access the Edit button.
The following figure shows the Edit button in the summary pane of the program definition Case:
After users edit the program details, the Case goes through an approval process. If the supervisor rejects the program definition Case, the Case returns to the user to edit the details.
After the updates are approved, the system saves the program details and reflects the updates immediately. The applicant can apply for the program that has the latest policy details.
Auditing and Timeline
The system cross-references the modifications to the Program definition Case through the field-level auditing and the timeline features. You can access these features on the History and Timeline tab in the program definition Case.
The Field Audit tab shows the modifications to the Case at each field level, as shown in the following figure:
The Timeline tab provides a visual depiction of historical events about the program definition Case. The details include precise timestamps of event occurrences, along with responsible action owners. These details are displayed in a logical way, as shown in the following figure:
