Troubleshooting Insights issues
Review the following solutions to resolve common Insight issues and ensure that Insights work as intended:
- If the value of the access token lifetime is inappropriate, the system might prompt you to log in repeatedly. To resolve the problem, update the token lifetime to match your session requirements.
- By default, tables in Insights display numbers with separators, which might mislead some users. To prevent confusion, modify the user interface controls to remove the separators.
- Pega Platform sources the names of objects that you can select in the Explore Data list from the short description of a certain class. Depending on your business requirements, you might want to change the name that Explore Data displays.
- In specific scenarios, the Explore Data functionality might not include all columns with your data. Issues with columns in the Explore Data functionality might be caused by the lack of optimization of properties. If the specific column is not displayed in the Show/hide columns list, optimize the backing property that the column uses for reporting.
Nota: The property requires optimization in the parent classes and in the specific Class that you view in Explore Data.
- If the specific column is not visible in Explore Data, the corresponding property might not be marked as a relevant record. Open the property in Dev Studio and mark it as relevant.
- Web browsers might cache an out-of-date version of a webpage, which can prevent new updates or entire columns from displaying. Clear your browser's cache by performing one of the following actions:
- Close all open pages of the application.
- Open the application in an incognito window.
- Manually clear browser's session storage, and then reload the page.
- You might encounter issues with the loading of your Constellation Portals or Explore Data page. To solve the issue, verify any application customizations, including application settings, application alias, authentication types, and OAuth 2.0 Client Registration Rule.
