Adding territories to work objects

Associate territories directly with work objects such as accounts, opportunities, and leads so that users with access to the territories can also access these work objects.

You cannot directly associate territories with contacts because contacts always derive access from the account with which they are associated.

You can associate one or more territories with work objects, one territory being the primary territory.

  1. Log in to Pega Sales Automation as the owner of the work object that you want to associate with territories.
    For example, click Leads.
  2. Open any of the Business Leads.
    For example, Jessie Stone.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. In the Territories section, click Add, and then add territories.
    For example, Software and Hardware.
  5. If you want the territory to be the primary territory, select the Is Primary checkbox.
Note: The work object should have only one primary territory.
  1. Click Submit.
