This video explains how to build conditions in Pega 1:1 Operations Manager.
U+ Bank uses the Concurrent Change Management system in its Pega Customer Decision Hub™ application. The bank wants to create a condition that defines premium customers.
To begin, log in to Pega1:1 Operations Manager as a Business User. Navigate to Create > Build conditions.
This action creates a change request. In the change request form, enter a name of the change request, a completion date, and a description. If required, select a release vehicle based on your release plan, and then submit the form.
Now, associate the condition with a Context. A context is an entity based on which Customer Decision Hub makes Next-Best-Action decisions. The system considers the associated conditions when making Next-Best-Action decisions for that context.
Based on your business requirements, you can create new conditions or update existing conditions. In this scenario, U+ Bank creates a new condition. Enter a name for the condition. A unique identifier populates the corresponding field automatically. Continue to define the condition.
In the dropdown lists, enter the criteria for the condition. To define multiple criteria, add new rows.
The next step is to specify the associated categories. To make the condition available in engagement policies, associate the condition with one or more categories (for example, Eligibility, Applicability, and Suitability).
Review the condition and complete the task. The status of the change request is now Resolved-Completed, and the condition is available for use.
Go to the content landing page. On the Conditions tab, you can see the conditions that are deployed and active. You can also build additional conditions from this page.
