Common Assistant
The Common assistant is an agentic interface that answers questions about Common Data Model and lets you manage sample data. Common assistant is in the Data Portal.

Answers questions
The Common assistant questions about installing and implementing the Common Data Model. You can ask questions about capabilities and design patterns, for example:
- How do I import external data in Common?
- Tell me about reference data objects
- What is Visualizer and how is it implemented?
- Why do business entities inherit from Work- instead of from Data-?
- Tell me about entities in Common
Manages sample data
You can create, update, and search sample data that is related to business entities such as Accounts, Contacts, Transactions, Products, Assets, and their relationships. For more information, see Managing sample data with Common Assistant.
