This video shows you how to create and approve global directives for a brand voice.
As a Business User, log in to the Pega 1:1 Operations Manager portal.
In the navigation pane, click Brand voices to open the Brand voice landing page. On this landing page, you can create your brand voice, set up global directives, and test the content generated using Pega GenAI™.
The landing page contains two sections: Brand voices and Global directives.
On the Global directives tab, set up some global directives. Global directives define the guidelines to be applied across all communications that use the brand voice.
Fill in the Change request name, Completion date, and Description fields to initiate a change request to create a global directive.
Now, you can add a directive.
There are various categories, such as Style, Grammar, Language, and Compliance for which you can add directives. Select a category for the directive that you want to create.
Next, add the guideline. These guidelines act as the foundation for tone and style to be applied in all communications and maintaining a consistent brand voice.
You can add multiple directives to the same change request.
Other directives can include:
- Style: Do not use contractions.
- Grammar: Always use sentence case.
- Compliance: The phrase 'U+ Bank' should have a trademark symbol next to it.
- Language: Do not use passive voice.
You can edit or delete an already added directive.
Once all the required directives are added, click Submit to submit the change request.
The request is now routed to the Team Lead for approval.
As a Team Lead, log in to Pega 1:1 Operations Manager. The Approve global directives task is listed in the My Worklist section for the Team Lead's review.
The Team Lead reviews the global directives and can either approve or reject them.
Rejecting the changes will send the change requests back to the Build stage, where the business user needs to make the required changes and re-send them for approval.
Once the global directives are approved, the change request is complete.
You can now see the approved global directives on the Brand voice landing page. The system uses these directives while formulating the brand voice and any other content that you generate using Pega GenAI, such as Email treatment content.
You have reached the end of the demo. You have learned:
