Creating an Insight from Pega Process Fabric Hub
Create a new Insight with a unified view that shows unresolved Cases from both UI Kit and Constellation applications for Pega Customer Service™. By configuring a non-parameterized Data Page in Dev Studio that sources remote Case data from Pega Process Fabric Hub™, you can aggregate and filter information from multiple applications. After you set up the Data Page add it to the Interaction Portal, you can build an Insight with custom columns and filters, then save and display it for ongoing operational visibility.
In a Customer Service application on Constellation, the following default Data Pages pull remote Case information synced to Pega Process Fabric Hub™:
- D_UnifiedPFHubWLTasks retrieves data from a given operator.
- D_UnifiedPFHubWQTasks retrieves data from a given Work Queue.
- In Dev Studio, create a non-parameterized Data Page that sources the two Data Pages.
- Mark the Data Page as Available,API.
- Create a new Data Transform source that passes the required parameters and pulls the data.
- Populate all necessary parameters and copy the data from the original Data Page.
- In the row of the Data_view_ID parameter, in the Source field, confirm that the setting is "D_CS_PPF_Worklist".
- In the header of Dev Studio, click Application > Channels and interfaces, and then click Interaction Portal.
- Click Landing pages, and then click Explore data.
- In the Objects section, click Add, search for the Data Page, and click Add.
- In the header of Dev Studio, click Launch Portal > Interaction portal.
- In the navigation pane of the Interaction Portal, click Explore data.
- Create an Insight with the desired columns and filters.
- Click Save Insight, enter a name, and then click Submit.
The Explore Data landing page now shows the Insight you created.
