Use Process Skins to replace the names of key fields with the terminology that your organization prefers.

Process Skin use case

Process Skins can accelerate adoption of Pega Process Mining by making the interface better reflect the vocabulary that your organization currently uses. For example, in Pega Process Mining, a Case ID is a unique identifier that acts as the glue that ties all of the work on a single process together. Therefore, the UI includes the term Case throughout the navigation menu and page headings, as shown in the following figure:

The term "Case" appears in the navigation bar, such as Case ID, and in Dashboard widget headings, such as Case Event Count and Case Duration.

If an organization uses a Ticket ID as the required unique identifier for a single process, then that organization might choose to create a Process Skin to replace the term Case ID with Ticket ID in the UI, as shown in the following figure:

The term "Ticket" appears in the navigation bar, such as Ticket ID, and in Dashboard widget headings, such as Ticket Event Count and Ticket Duration.
