Out-of-the-box landing page widgets
Widgets offer prescribed, helpful functions for users in one place. This improves usability and helps application developers to quickly build useful applications. Widgets are supported by Portal landing pages and the Full Case View. In the Full Case View, Widgets populate the expandable Utilities pane.
Constellation offers a variety of out-of-the-box Widgets that support common user actions. To add a Widget to a landing page, open the landing page you want to update and select the Widget you want to configure.
Default Widget options
Some Widgets work out of the box, while others require extra configuration. For example, Case attachments are fully customizable. You can select which attachment categories a Case Type supports to ensure users have relevant data during case processing.
Portals include the following Out-of-the-box Widgets:
-
Pulse – a team collaboration tool that keeps posts, comments, and attachments all in one place. The Pulse Widget is available both in landing pages and the Full Case View.

Worklist of team members – displays the work items that belong to the end user’s team members.
