Applying metrics to analysis
As you look at the different metrics, the story of a process begins to emerge. Using the examples in the figures above, you observe a large amount of effort in the Assigned to Dispatched transition. This transition occurs in over 86% of the Cases, and the count is high at nearly 23,000 events. When you combine this high effort with the high average and total durations, then you recognize that this is slow transition. You can begin to look for bottlenecks and the potential opportunity to add an automation.
