Merge entities case type

Merge entities functionality

Because disparate systems capture data for different entities, especially for Person and Business, there is always the potential for duplicate records. To identify and remove such duplicate records in the system, Pega Government Platform™ offers a merge entities feature. This feature lets you mark one of the potential duplicates as a master record and merge properties from the other duplicates. The duplicates are then marked as inactive and the master record is retained in the system of record (SOR). The feature is intended to be used by admins, managers, and back-office roles.

You can preconfigure the properties that need to be displayed for merging on the Configuration landing page of Pega Government Platform in App Studio.
