Reporting and configurations in Time Management

Time Management also comes with the Manage time landing page, which displays the details of the user's timesheet and their team's timesheet. Users can view their time entry logs for a given period, and their manager can view the time entry logs for their team.

On the Manage time landing page, users can view only the My Timesheet tab, and managers can view both the My Timesheet and Team Timesheet tabs.

Users can view their time entries on the My Timesheet tab and filter them based on categories such as start day, end day, and project. Managers can view the individual time entries of the users on the Team Timesheet tab and their time entries on the My Timesheet tab. There is an option to filter the results based on categories such as time period, project, or user.

The following figure shows the Manage time landing page for a manager:

Time Management also provides Restricted access to Time Entries, which is enforced by Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) rules:

  • Case workers (users) can access their own entries.
  • Managers can access entries for themselves and access the entries of users in their work group.
  • Administrators can view all entries.

Time sheet due configuration

Time can be entered for the current day. If a time entry case is submitted after the end of the day, a validation error is displayed, and the user cannot submit the case again.

A new configuration setting in the Time Management application supports updates to timesheets. The Timesheet due setting is configurable according to business needs.

The default value for any time entry case for Timesheet due is the end of the day, at 11:59 PM. To modify the due time, you update the Timesheet due setting to enable the choice of a specific time instead of End of Day. You then update the Specific due time configuration setting with the required due time.

The following figure shows the configuration setting for the timesheet that is due:
