Scenario

The sales representatives want to see the forecasting instead of the customer sentiment analysis on the dashboard. As a member of the sales operations team you have been asked to update the default dashboard for the sales representatives.

Replace the Sentiment analysis for sales rep widget with the Forecasting widget in the default sales representative coaching dashboard.

Use the following credentials to log in to the exercise system:

Your assignment consists of the following tasks:

Detailed Tasks

1 Update the sales representative coaching dashboard

1. Log in to your exercise system as sales operations user.
   1. In the User name field, enter salessampleops.
   2. In the Password field, enter rules.
2. On the left, from the Navigation panel, click Dashboards.
3. Click Sales rep coaching dashboard.
4. In the upper-right corner, click the Edit to edit the dashboard.
5. In Region A, perform the following steps:
   1. click the Remove icon next to Sentiment analysis for rep to delete the widget from the dashboard.
   2. Click Add Widget(s) to add a widget to the slot.
   3. Select Forecasting, then click Add selected to add the Forecasting widget to the slot.
   4. Click and drag the Forecasting widget that you just added to the first position.
6. Click Save Dashboard to complete the configuration.
7. In the upper-right corner, click Account > Log off.

Confirm your work

1. Log in to your exercise system as sales manager Benjamin Miller.
   1. In the User name field, enter bmiller.
   2. In the Password field, enter rules.
2. On the left, from the Navigation panel, click Dashboards.
3. Click Sales rep coaching dashboard.
4. Verify that the Forecast trend widget is displayed on the dashboard.
