Recording test results and deploying to production
A release vehicle progresses through testing, approval, and deployment in Pega Customer Decision Hub™ so that you can ensure that business changes undergo successful validation and promotion. Test Managers verify functionality in a dedicated test environment and record the outcomes, after which the Release Manager deploys the approved updates to production, which completes the lifecycle of the release vehicle.

This video explains how to record test results of a release vehicle and deploy it to production.
U+ Bank has already generated and deployed its Quarter 1 release vehicle to the test environment. The testing team connected a Web Self‑Service Channel to the test environment and conducted multiple tests.
After you have completed your testing activities, log in to the Business Operations Environment (BOE) as a Test Manager to record the test results. On the Release vehicle landing page, open the release vehicle that you have completed testing. You can enter your testing review comments and either approve or reject the release vehicle based on the results.
In this scenario, assume U+ Bank has successfully completed testing and found no errors. Enter your comments in the given field and approve the release vehicle.
The status automatically changes to Pending-Deployment, which indicates that all testing has been successfully completed and the release vehicle is ready for deployment to production.
Deploy to production
Deployment is the final Stage in the life cycle of a release vehicle. In this Stage, you promote changes across all environments. With Concurrent Change Management, you can initiate and complete the deployment in Pega 1:1 Operations Manager.
After the Test Manager has approved the release vehicle, U+ Bank wants to push its Quarter 1 release vehicle to production.
As a Release Manager, on the Release vehicle landing page, open the release vehicle that you want to deploy. Verify that the status displays as Pending-Deployment, and then initiate the deployment. Observe that the system queues the changes and merges them into the deployment pipeline. Note that this process might take several minutes to complete.
After the deployment is completed successfully, the status of the release vehicle is Resolved-Deployed, which denotes successful deployment to production.
