Sales representative Terry Mason has been working on an opportunity for Ian Thomas. Ian just called Terry and requested additional information that includes cost estimates.
As Terry, create a reminder for the cost estimate.

1 Add a task as a reminder to create the cost estimate
- Log in to your exercise system as sales representative Terry Mason.
- On the left, from the Explorer panel, click Opportunities. The opportunities for Terry Mason is displayed.
- On the Opportunities screen, in the filter opportunity field, enter Ian.
- Select Individual to get the list of results.
- Click on Interlogix Image Sensors for Ian Thomas. The opportunity is displayed.
- Select Actions > Add task. The new task screen is displayed.
- On the new Task screen, populate the from with the following values:
- Subject: Cost estimate for Ian Thomas
- Type: Customer Communication
- Due date: <today's date, plus one week>
- Start date: <today's date>
- Status: In Progress
- Notify reminder: One Day Prior
- Comments: Create and send cost estimate to Ian Thomas.
- Click Create to add the task to the opportunity.
- Verify that the task was added to the To do list.
