The role of a COE in reuse
To encourage appropriate and best use of the Pega Platform, organizations can create a Center of Excellence (COE). A COE is an internal organization that centralizes the resources and expert staff who support all project roles, including business analysts, lead system architects, and administrators.
Reuse is critical in getting the benefits and value of the Pega Platform. The responsibility of the COE is to manage and promote reuse across projects for the organization. If no one is responsible and accountable for reuse, assets are often reinvented.
