Beginner Pega Robotic Automation 22.1 Robotic Process Automation English

While Pega platform provides an array of connectivity options with various applications at an enterprise, there are times where Pega does not or cannot interface and integrate with applications for some reason. In those instances, Pega Robot Studio™ can take the job of automating that application integration while the Pega Application continues interfacing with other applications.  For Pega Robot Studio, stepping in and assisting seamlessly into case management integration is powerful, so the integration does not impact any other existing process and application relationships.

After completing this module, you should be able to:

Differentiate the uses of attended and unattended uses and benefits
Differentiate between the architecture of how attended and unattended automations function
Describe how and where to invoke automations
Recognize the which properties are available for data input/output for automations
Describe the statuses/messages returned by automations
Restate the necessary implementation options for messages for both attended and unattended automations
Configure the necessary settings for a robot activity to begin development of attended/unattended automations

Practice what you learned in the following Challenges:

Integrating an attended RPA project with a Pega application v1 Integrating an unattended RPA project with a Pega application v1

Available in the following mission:

Robotics System Architect v3
