Pega GenAI-based suggested emails for desktop application

The Pega GenAI-powered suggested emails feature is now integrated into the Pega Sales Automation desktop application, providing a seamless experience across all platforms. With contextually relevant, real-time email suggestions from Pega GenAI, users can boost their efficiency and enhance customer engagement while composing new emails or responding to incoming messages.

This video demonstrates how to use Pega GenAI-based email suggestions within the desktop application.

Terry Mason, a sales representative at Myco Telecommunications, starts his day by checking his emails. He intends to send upcoming meeting details to Sara Connor, a customer at Acme Software Company, using the Pega GenAI-powered suggested emails feature.

Terry crafts a new email using the Create Email option. When Terry inputs Sara Connor's email ID, the system displays relevant prompts based on the recipient type (new prospect, existing prospect, or a combination). Terry can then select a template or enter a custom prompt. If he chooses the Custom prompt, the system identifies the contextual data and generates the email content. Terry can refine the system-generated response to match his personal writing style.

In this scenario, because Terry wants to send details about an upcoming meeting, he selects the Book an Appointment template to generate contextually relevant email content. Terry can enter the subject and then send the email to Sara.

Now let's see how to utilize the Pega GenAI-powered suggested emails feature to respond to email content. Sarah Kendall, a sales manager, receives an email from Terry requesting information on UPlus security cameras. Sarah can easily respond to Terry's email by using the optional Pega GenAI processes. When Sarah clicks Reply, the To email address field is auto-populated with Terry's email ID. Sarah can then choose to either Reply manually or Reply using AI options.

If she selects the Reply manually option, the email subject is automatically populated, and Sarah then manually enters her response. If she selects the Reply Using AI option, the system generates suggested replies. Sarah can choose to write her own custom reply or select one of three suggested replies to respond to Terry Mason.

In this scenario, because Sarah needs to respond to Terry, she selects the Response Acknowledgement template to generate contextually relevant email content, and then clicks Submit.

By utilizing Pega GenAI’s suggested email responses, sales representatives and managers can enhance their productivity, improve the quality of their communication, and increase customer engagement.
