Application and production Rulesets
Application rulesets
An application contains a collection of rules, or a ruleset, packaged primarily for distribution. The New Application wizard creates the initial application rulesets. When the application is generated, the created rulesets include two rulesets for the application itself and two organizational rulesets. Add additional rulesets for reusable functionality that you might want to migrate to other applications.
Tip: The rulesets created with the New Application wizard that end in Int are used for rules related to integration.

Production rulesets
Production rulesets have at least one unlocked ruleset version in the production environment. Production rulesets include rules that are updated in the production environment. Production rulesets are commonly used for delegated rules. However, production rulesets can apply to any use case that requires rules to be updated in a production environment.
You configure production rulesets on the Advanced tab of the application record. You must also specify the production ruleset in the access group.
