Dashboards and reporting in Pega Smart Investigate Agentic Automation™ (SIAA) use Constellation Insights to transform investigation data into actionable business intelligence. The dashboards provide dynamic, role-specific visibility into operational performance, compliance metrics, and efficiency trends.

This topic explains how the Insights framework simplifies report configuration, enables interactive analytics with drill-down features, and supports Chat to my data functionality. Chat to my data enables you to create reports by describing your requirements in natural language.

Creating dashboards

Dashboards provide visibility into investigation volumes, processing efficiency, and compliance metrics.

In Smart Investigate for Payments (SIP), dashboards were built using traditional reporting tools with limited interactivity and personalization. SIAA uses Constellation Insights and advanced visualization to deliver dynamic dashboards with real-time insights. These dashboards can be tailored to user roles, from frontline investigators to senior management.

Insights are easier to configure than previous list and summary view reports. They also support Chat to my data, which enables you to create reports by describing your requirements in natural language.

Identify key metrics and KPIs for each user group:

  • Volume metrics:
    • New cases
    • Resolved cases
    • Pending cases
  • Efficiency metrics:
    • Resolution time
    • Touch time
    • Automation rate
  • Quality metrics:
    • Rework rate
    • Customer satisfaction
    • Compliance
  • Financial metrics:
    • Value of investigations
    • Cost per case

Configure role-specific dashboards:

  • Executive dashboards: Strategic metrics and trends
  • Manager dashboards: Team performance and workload
  • Operational dashboards: Queue status and priority items

Implement interactive features:

SIP relied on predefined reports with limited flexibility for ad-hoc analysis. SIAA introduces a comprehensive Insights framework that combines structured reporting with advanced analytics. This approach supports both regular operational needs and deeper analysis of trends and patterns.

The system can generate insights for multiple data points, such as time, geography, case type, and customer segment, enabling informed decision-making at all levels.

Catalog existing reports and determine which to recreate:

  • Management reports:
    • Team performance
    • SLA compliance

  • Compliance reports:
    • Regulatory filings

Configure reports to replace legacy reports:
