Getting started with Pega Credit Risk Decisioning

Pega Credit Risk Decisioning is a solution for automating risk assessment and decision management in loan application processing. Credit Risk Decisioning provides a comprehensive decision strategy for automating loan application decisions, which can help reduce loan processing time from weeks to minutes.

The Credit Risk Decisioning solution also gives you access to the Decision Management Portal – a change management tool that you can use to safely modify and test your Decision strategy in a non-production environment before deploying the changes to the Production environment.

The Pega Decision Management Portal provides business users with the means to implement and test modifications to their applications. The Portal enables business users to respond quickly to changes in the external and internal factors that influence their business. Responses might include imposing eligibility criteria or modifying existing business strategies.

In the Decision Management Portal, you can change business Rules that govern Decision strategies and proposition management, manage revisions of decisioning Rules in business sandbox environments, and monitor the effectiveness of decisions that your applications make in Production environments.

Home page

On the Home page you can see the section with Revisions in progress, create a new revision, and see the list of your tasks in My Worklist section. Here, you can create distribution test or decision funnel simulation.

Change Management

On the Change Management landing page, you can see the list of your revisions in progress. You can also create a new revision by clicking Create Revision button. On the Change Management landing page, you can see the list of rules, that you can request to update. Changes to the rules are implemented through change requests that are part of a revision.

Decisions

On the Decisions landing page, you will see the same rules, but the selection is narrowed to: Decision Data, Decision Tables, Decision Trees, Map Values, Proposition Filters, Scorecards, Strategies, and When rules.

Event Processing

On the Event Processing landing page, you can see the same rules, but the selection is narrowed to: Data Flows, Event Strategies, and Summary Data Sets rules.

Predictions

You can access Prediction Studio from here.

Unit Testing

On the Unit Testing landing page you can view the Test Cases, Test Suites and Test Reports for the create tests for Decision Tables, Decision Trees, Event Strategies, Map Values, Strategies, and When rules.

Simulation testing

On the Simulation Testing landing page, you can create and run simulations. You can run a distribution test or decision funnel simulation.

With simulation tests, you can run strategies of varying complexity on a preselected sample set of customers. By doing so, you can simulate the outcome of your decision management framework.

Reporting

In the Reporting landing page, you can view recent reports and can add a new report or category of reports.
