Revenue Forecast roles and responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • For Opportunity Revenue Forecasting: Consulting Solutions Executives (CSEs) are responsible for all revenue data within any project they are assigned as the Project Manager within Projector
  • For Project Revenue Forecasting: Project Delivery Leaders (PDLs) and CSEs are responsible for all revenue data within any project they are assigned as the Project Manager within Projector
  • Regional Operations team generates and distributes the consulting revenue forecast. This data is sourced from consulting opportunities within Sales Automation (SA) and consulting projects with Projector.

Opportunity revenue forecasting

Consulting opportunities in Sales Automation (SA) also drive our revenue forecast process in certain scenarios. When creating, editing, or updating an open opportunity, it is crucial you populate and maintain the mandatory additional revenue forecast details section in every update. The additional revenue forecast details section within a consulting opportunity collects data on the finance account, the project start & end date, and the forecasted total hours. These data points alongside the opportunity's forecast category and opportunity amount provide input needed for the revenue forecast.

Projector revenue forecasting

Projector revenue data is dependent and reflective of project setups and key data points. The data is sourced from billable projects that are under the following project stage: 

  • Closed (sold)
  • Sold
  • Verbal
  • Commit
