Pega Customer Decision Hub agents
An agent is an internal background process operating on the server that runs activities periodically. On top of the standard Pega Platform™ agents, a set of agents manages the different aspects of Pega Customer Decision Hub™.
When you first provision an environment, the agent schedules for these agents are not running by default. Enable these agent schedules manually to ensure that Pega Customer Decision Hub functions properly.
Tip: For more information, see Customer Decision Hub agents.
Depending on the scope of your implementation, you can enable and disable certain agents in the agent schedule to improve system performance. It is optional to configure an agent schedule in non-production environments as the performance impact is negligible.
The following figure is an example of typical agents that are available in Customer Decision Hub and tips on how to enable or disable their schedules in a production environment.
