Pega GenAI for email response suggestions and post-meeting analysis

By using Pega GenAI™ in Pega Sales Automation™, sales representatives can streamline their sales tasks, such as responding to emails and scheduling appointments, with AI-driven features. This video shows you how Pega Sales Automation can vastly simplify the day of a sales representative so that they can focus on selling. 

Terry Mason, a sales representative at U+ Security, begins his day by checking his emails. He uses his Outlook account to sift through various new emails. With the Pega Sales Automation Outlook add-in, he can access contextual information about his emails directly within Outlook.

He receives an email from a contact, Sara Connor, who is interested in U+ Security products. She requests more information about the products and wants to discuss various pricing options. Terry can easily respond to this email using the AI reply feature in the Pega Sales Automation Outlook add-in and Pega GenAI. He can review the suggestions and select one of the AI email suggestions, which the system ranks by confidence score, to begin his email response. He can then preview the content to adjust the email's tone and length before sending the final version.

Terry also receives a recommendation to schedule an appointment. This suggestion comes from the Case creation feature in Sales Automation, which detects Sara's intention to arrange a meeting.

Schedule an appointment

When Terry creates the meeting invitation, all the fields automatically populate, and he schedules the meeting with Sara Connor for the following Tuesday.

Fast forward to Tuesday's meeting. During the call, Terry receives real-time insights from the Pega Sales Automation Zoom add-in.

He can view Sara's details, including her title, influence rating, last contact date, the amount, overall sentiment, AI insights about the likelihood of closing the deal, recent digital activity, and top Pega Customer Decision Hub offers that he can propose to Sara during the call.

AI insights

When Sara asks to meet the following Thursday with a quote, Pega natural language processing (NLP) and Pega GenAI-driven Email Bot can identify Sara's request for a Zoom meeting and suggests scheduling an appointment.

Intelligent guidance

Terry then creates an appointment; the entity extraction feature prepopulates all the necessary details. He can then check Sara's availability and schedule the meeting.
Then, Sara mentions that competitor Seetec Security offers better pricing than U+ for similar products. Voice AI detects the mention of a competitor and presents a battle card for Terry to use during the call. He then shows the competitor's positioning to Sara.

Sara remains dissatisfied with the pricing. Voice AI detects the negative sentiment and triggers a manager alert. The manager, Susan, is notified of this alert. She opens the appointment and advises Terry to offer a discount and free installation. Terry sees the message during the meeting and presents this offer to Sara.

After the meeting, Terry logs into his Sales Automation portal and sees a notification that his post-meeting summary is ready.

He opens it and finds the meeting transcript and a post-meeting summary tab with clearly summarized meeting notes and actionable items such as a follow-up meeting, email, or Task.

Terry reviews the suggestions and sends the product literature to Sara; Pega GenAI prepopulates the email content.
