Pega Knowledge publishing process

Pega Knowledge

Pega Knowledge provides a solution designed to complement Business Process Management (BPM) and Case Management applications by adding insight and guidance to users working on customer service or other case types. Pega Knowledge supports the creation of rich, multimedia content that can be used with any Pega application.

Content life cycle

Content can be contextually suggested in work flows, providing useful content when and where a user needs it. The authoring portal, or Knowledge Portal, provides intuitive content authoring and management tools to effectively manage the full life cycle of content.

Pega Knowledge provides a guided content authoring and approval flow. This allows content to be created in a staged process that separates content approvals and publication. This approach is designed to support a more distinct quality-assured content development methodology.

The stages of publishing content are creation, approval, and publication.

Content taxonomy

A taxonomy allows you to classify or group similar content to organize your knowledge base and support a more efficient search and display of content. Pega Knowledge supports a multilevel taxonomy category structure to meet your business needs.

Before creating your taxonomy categories, consider the most logical structure that aligns with how you want to organize and classify your content. Some organizations create taxonomy categories that match their organizational structure.

Create a category with all the required elements to access the taxonomy.

The knowledge content is organized in a tree structure.
