Phases of Pega Express
Pega Express phases
Pega Express™ is divided into four phases that align with a typical project lifecycle. The phases are Discover, Prepare, Build, and Adopt.
The following image demonstrates the benefits of the four phases.
What is Pega Express?
Design Focused: Leverages Design thinking through Design Sprints
Quick & Light: Quick, light, and guides business experts
Seamless & Easy: Design right in the platform using App Studio & low codes
Balanced: Balance business benefits, efforts and user experience
The following image shows the four phases and the key deliverables of each:
Phase | Description |
---|---|
Discover | In the Discover phase, your team uses design thinking techniques to clarify the desired outcomes. You define your Minimum Lovable Product (MLP) and get ready to begin your project. |
Prepare | During Prepare, your team designs a solution and creates a product backlog using Scrum best practices. You also establish governance and enable your team. |
Build | In the Build phase, you iteratively configure and test your application. You use Scrum project management methods with Pega's low-code platforms and out-of-the-box tools. Pega Express best practices are built into platforms like App Studio or Next Best Action Designer to define application components and prioritize MLPs quickly. |
Adopt | The Adopt phase readies your application for production, and prepares the business for transition to "business-as-usual." During Adopt, you analyze application performance while planning your next MLP release. |
