Dynamic system settings
Dynamic system settings are configurable items that determine the default system behavior of Pega Platform™. The Pega Robot Manager dynamic system settings help specify elements of robot registrations, heartbeat intervals, work group assignments, and timeouts.

Specifies the maximum expected time that the robotic process automation (RPA) service takes to start the Pega Robot Runtime machine. The default value is 120 seconds. |

Prevents the Pega Robot Manager system from attempting to restart a robot that has failed to start during a scheduled action or otherwise event. The default value is 4. | |

Defines how often the RPA Service sends a heartbeat signal to Pega Robot Manager. The default value is 45 seconds. | |
|
Determines the timeout interval for the start command issued to robots in conjunction with the RPA service heartbeat interval. The default value is 45 seconds. | |
|
Defines whether the Pega Robot Runtime system settings or Pega Robot Manager decision tables determine the work group for a newly provisioned robot. The default value is false. |
Note: Changes to the dynamic system settings affect all robots, users, and applications on the respective Pega Platform instances. For more information, see Dynamic system settings.
System Settings for Server Bot Frameworks
Just as you update system settings for the Pega Platform, remember to adjust settings for your Server Bot Framework. You cannot use the default system settings values that you normally use for individual robots with your server bots in the Server Bot Framework.
