Worklists

A worklist shows available work that an author, approver, or publisher is due to perform in the Knowledge Management (KM) Portal. A worklist always displays work that is assigned to a particular user.

Individual worklists

When you log in to the KM Portal, the My Dashboard landing page presents both your worklist (under the My work tab) and your workbasket (under the My work queues tab).

Columns that are displayed show the urgency, article title, Case ID as well as the stage in which the article is in (for example, Create content). By default, the your worklist will show content in order of urgency, with the most urgent content at the top of the list but you can choose to sort, filter, as well as hide columns or add new ones.

To continue working on an article assigned to you, click the article title.

For the worklist to function properly, the user must have the correct team assigned in Infinity Studio.

Note: In most cases, a KM Author is assigned to the team KM default. The team to which a user is assigned impacts several features in the KM portal, including what is visible on their dashboard and worklists.
