Scenario

You have just joined Pega and want to familiarize yourself with Pega Sales Automation™ by exploring the Pega Sales Automation sample application.

The sample application introduces you to Susan Kendall, a manager. Susan's team includes Terry Mason, a top sales representative.

Use the following credentials to log in to the exercise system:

Log in to your exercise system as sales representative Terry Mason. Terry's home page shows Pulse messages, his worklist, and any Next best actions, Coaching plans, and Items I follow.
On the left, from the Explorer panel, select Dashboard. Scroll down and observe the widgets on the sales representative dashboard.
On the left, from the Explorer panel, select Leads. The sales leads assigned to Terry Mason are displayed.
Click the lead for Sara Conner. The lead record for Sara Connor is displayed.
The lead page displays To dos, Next best actions, and the Pulse thread with recent activities for this lead.
On the left, from the Explorer panel, select Contacts. Terry Mason's contacts are displayed.
Click the contact for Abel Amigon. The contact record for Abel Amigon is displayed.
On the left, in the Contact record, click Associations to see the Associated contacts, Associated accounts, and Associated organizations.
On the left, from the Explorer panel, select Opportunities. The sales opportunities for Terry are displayed. The Stage view shows the opportunities by current stage in the sales process.
In the Decision stage, click the opportunity record for Window Sensor System for APW Technologies to review the information stored for an opportunity and view the stages pipeline.
In the lower left corner, from the Explorer panel, click the operator icon and select Log off to log out of the sales representative portal.

Log in to your exercise system as sales manager Susan Kendall. Susan's home page shows Pulse messages, her worklist, and any appointments.
On the left, from the Explorer panel, select Dashboard. Scroll and observe the widgets on the sales manager dashboard.
On the left, from the Explorer panel, select Opportunities. All opportunities in Susan's territory are displayed.
At the top of the Opportunities screen, click the List view tab to show the detail list of all opportunities. Note that Susan sees opportunities for all members of her team.
In the lower left corner, from the Explorer panel, click the operator icon and select Log off to log out of the sales manager portal.
